The HIMANIS project has been made possible tanks to a co-funding from the Dutch, French, Spanish research authorities in the framework of the “Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change” JPI-CH (http://www.jpi-culturalheritage.eu).

The actual JPI-CH action that supports the HIMANIS project is Heritage Plus – an ERA-Net Plus project itself referring to the FP7 – whose implementation consisted in involving several European groups with innovative proposals developing current issues of cultural heritage, with a joint-call launched on March 2014 (http://www.jpi-culturalheritage.eu/joint-activities/joint-call/).

HIMANIS resulted one of the 16 project selected for funding in that call (http://www.jpi-culturalheritage.eu/wp-content/uploads/HIMANIS.pdf)
